About

We’re Stephen and Debbie Buckner and we’re passionate about strengthening marriages because it’s one of God’s greatest gifts to the world.  We’ve been married for over 20 years and live in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  We love a great movie, a great meal, a great love song, and a great conversation, …especially if it’s about our next vacation.

Our primary mission is to help local churches build ongoing, comprehensive marriage ministries.  We believe the church is the Body of Christ and the hope of the world; therefore if the dream of marriage is going to be restored in America, it will happen in, and through, local churches.

We’re also seasoned speakers with a presentation style that is fresh, unique, and honest.  Many people have said we’re different than anyone they’ve heard on marriage.  We’ve been through more than our share of tough times in our marriage, and we’re not afraid to talk about it.  For more information on the two conference themes we’ve created, click here.

We’re the founders of Hot Marriage, Inc., an organization committed to strengthening individual couples by partnering with churches to build ongoing marriage ministry.  For more information about our vision for marriage ministry in the church, click here.

Our goal with this blog is to create relevant, encouraging, and challenging content that will add value to your life.  If you want to  strengthen your own marriage, and inspire other marriages along the way, then this blog is for you.  Just enter your email below to join the list.
